Alaina 2026 High School Senior

Yesterday I had a wonderful time with a beautiful senior who’s very special to me. My niece Alaina.

We went to Lexington shopping for her outfits. Which is always a fun time for me because what girl doesn’t love to shop? I love to shop. We hit up Ross and Marshalls to pull the outfit together. She tried on several outfits. Here is a few.

This blue jean romper was adorable on her and it was perfect for our vision.

After a super fun day of picking out the perfect outfit for our theme, it was time to head home and get her all dolled up! I may not be a pro at hair or makeup, but I gave it my best shot for Alaina’s look this session. You know what they say, “Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s Maybelline” — some people just have that natural beauty!

My mom took a pic of Alaina when she was an infant in the basket and ever since that day I’ve been wanting to do a remake of her as a senior. I wish my mom was still here to see how beautiful she is in that same old laundry mat seventeen years later.

Senior class 2025 Harrison Co High: Preston

Tis the season for senior pictures! Fall is upon us, and I love capturing the essence of these young adults during their senior year.

I truly couldn’t decide what to share from Preston’s senior session. He knew exactly what he wanted, from the props to the locations, which made my job easier. Senior portraits should reflect who you are in the moment and what you love. If you’re unsure about what to wear for your senior pictures, choose something that makes you feel comfortable and represents “you.” Incorporate the places and things you enjoy, whether they’re related to sports, hobbies, or even farm equipment. That’s exactly what Preston did.

Preston had his senior session on a farm in Berry, which made me feel like a country girl at heart. Country sessions are definitely my vibe! His look included all the staples of a farm boy: plaid shirts, Wrangler denim, and, of course, some sturdy work boots.

I had to wait 10 weeks to meet this cute little guy. He was due on Christmas Eve, but made his entrance into this world in October. After 8 weeks in the hospital River finally got to go home. He had a rough start and he did amazing at his session. He wasn’t much on all the posed shots. I stuck with the basket shots mostly for him. He loved being snuggled in my baskets with the most softest fur. He was cozy as a bug. I could have just kept him all day and snuggled. Please enjoy this sweet boys images and show him some love!

I have decided to make this a yearly session since my little one started Preschool this year. I want to capture all of his milestones. I want to offer the same for others. Sweet memories to have for a lifetime.

Arianna Newborn Session

I had a model call on my Michelle Morgan Photography Facebook page in June. Arianna’s mommy had yet to find or schedule her newborn session. She contacted me about letting Arianna model for me. I was thrilled to have her come to the studio and dress her up in pretty little headbands, wrap her in colorful wraps, and the snuggles. It helps with the my baby fever. I have been MIA (missing in action) with my blogging. I know I shouldn’t let months go by. We all get caught up in everyday life that sometimes the hours, days, and even months slip by. Little Miss Margo came to see me last month all the way from Richmond KY. She was an absolute doll. Her mom wanted to add dads fire fighter gear and her crown she wore in their wedding. She was so precious in her mommy’s crown. A tiny princess already.
