Central KY Engagement Photographer |Frankfort KY

When Erica called me about being her wedding photographer I was on cloud nine!  She is so creative and stylish and I knew this wedding would be a dream!!  We had planned on doing a spring engagement session but the weather didn’t cooperate and we both had several things come up.  So after finally deciding on the perfect location (Buffalo Trace) we set a date. We didn’t think about how hot June was going to be.  It was so hot and muggy.  Her fiance Scott was a trooper.  He went along with all our crazy ideas.  Just wait Scott there’s still a wedding in Paris KY this fall.  Buffalo Trace in Frankfort KY was a perfect spot for the engagement session. I know they also offer wedding and receptions there too.  The smell of whiskey was so strong coming from the barrels that were curing.  I love the location and the session.  If you need engagement photos or a wedding photographer don’t hesitate to give me a call.

Sweet Little Miss Emma joined the world in May.

Emma was welcomed with several hugs & kisses from her big sister Natalie and big brother Blake. I have been a life long friend of her parents and I love getting the text to schedule a session.

We did her newborn session at my studio in downtown Cynthiana KY.  I have a large assortment of hair bows, outfits, and backdrops for newborns and baby’s.

The Studio

There’s been some exciting things happening this year. I finally caved and made the next major step… I now have my own studio. After 3 years of doing on location and working out of my home I thought it was time to separate the two. It has been great. I have over 700 sq feet of space. It has a setting area for the parents and a warm home feeling. I’m still adding special touches to it as I go. I’ve been so happy with this decision. Please stop by for a visit 116 E Pike St Cynthiana, KY 41031 . Your always welcome!

Georgetown/Lexington KY Newborn & Senior Photographer |Snell Family Session

I’ve been extra busy this past month. It’s like tax time for photographer’s. I spent most of October outdoors enjoying the beauty of the fall colors with some wonderful people. I am so grateful to meet so many wonderful people. This time it was one of my sisters and her family. One thing I always want to make sure of is to capture my loved ones. Portraits are very important to me. Children are only little once and they change so much from year to year. I know my family doesn’t like to bug me about pictures. It’s been over 2 years since they had a family picture taken. I’m so glad that we took the time to meet up and catch these family moments. Make sure to schedule your session in advance. My calendar does fill up quite fast.

Cynthiana/Central KY Newborn & Senior Photographer | Oaklyn Newborn Session

This newborn session was extra special too me. This is my youngest sisters baby. She’s the second girl and the rest is 5 boys. Plenty to look out for them.

My dad is a Harley Davidson lover. He owns two Harley’s. We wanted to incorporate one of his bikes in her session. (inspired by Jennifer Nace Photography) Once we were done with that we had to get the girly images.

_MMP5584m capturing the little ones that are heading off to school for the first time. I loved hearing what they want to be when they grow up. I have decided to make this a yearly session since my little one started Preschool this year. I want to capture all of his milestones. I want to offer the same for others. Sweet memories to have for a lifetime.

Margo newborn

I have been MIA (missing in action) with my blogging. I know I shouldn’t let months go by. We all get caught up in everyday life that sometimes the hours, days, and even months slip by. Little Miss Margo came to see me last month all the way from Richmond KY. She was an absolute doll. Her mom wanted to add dads fire fighter gear and her crown she wore in their wedding. She was so precious in her mommy’s crown. A tiny princess already.
